Pearl Alley Band

Pearl Alley has opened for the likes of Lydia Pense & Cold Blood, James Hunter & Canned Heat. Pearl Alley played throughout Santa Cruz, including Moe's Alley, Fog Bank and Seabright Brewery, for nearly 10 years until transitioning their "headquarters" to San Jose in 2011.

Suzanne St. John sings with the power, rawness and presence of Janis Joplin. She was baptized into the blues in the late 90s, singing with Archie Lee Hooker in the Bay Area.

A dedicated guitarist since age thirteen, and music major in college, Dave's main passion in life has always been music, and hard-hitting blues was his calling.

With blues veterans Dennis Dove on drums, Doug Mancini on bass and Pamela Arthur on keys, the band is a tight, smokin' and entertaining quintet... it's Black Crowes meets Janis Joplin.

This collaboration produced a cd in 2003 with ten of their original tunes (available at cd baby). The CD was recorded, mixed, and produced by Dave, and many of the tracks were recorded at Dave and Suzanne's home studio.
